Game dev goes SOLO
Hello everyone!
This is my third game made with Godot 4.3.
It's a graphic adventure about a guy who dreams to become a solo game developer (I think many of us can relate) and signs up for a game jam which grants a publication of the game by an important game publisher. You have to manage between work, studying, developing and more.
I have to say this project got so much more ambitious than I thought when I started it. I started it around one week ago as a practice project but maybe because I really liked the concept, or maybe because I wanted to do something a bit more "complete", I decided to go full on on it. The result I have to say it's quite interesting!
I didn't do much testing and I think the difficulty is quite... Hardcore LOL. I could complete the game in most of my runs, but it can be frustrating as some events are random so it's also based a bit on your luck! (But most on your logic power haha).
I would LOVE to hear any feedback from whoever plays the game, so that I can even improve it in the future, maybe expand it or make it prettier.
I hope you enjoy and if you need any information about the game let me know in the comments!
Cheers!
Nick

I played through to the end. Staying up late and waking up early was very familiar! I loved how the little scene changed depending on the time and activity. I didn't win, so next time I'll keep my job so I can bribe the judges.
Hi!!
Wow! I am so happy someone still plays this!
Hahah! I should have implemented a function to bribe judges if you can make tons of money! In order to win you need to level up your project depending on the type (rpg, action or adventure)! Managing the time is as frustrating as in real life which maybe is not the best choice for a game but I am glad you enjoyed! I love that little character doing stuff too! I wonder if I should make it a more complete game in the future!
Thank you so much!! It made my day to read your comment!
