Asteroid - My way
This is my second ever made from scratch game with Godot 4.3.
Every asset and sound effects are made by me. The font is WhiteRabbit for commercial use (even if this is not a commercial project of course).
The sprites are pixel art so they get a bit jittery when rotated but personally I really love pixel art even in its imperfection and that's why I opted to use pixel art over vector images. Also since I want to improve pixel art as well I thought it was a good opportunity to try.
I slightly changed few mechanics and there are no flying saucers shooting at you but every tot score the asteroid will become faster and will spawn more frequently.
Controls:
Directional arrows left/right : Rotate the spaceship
Directional arrow up: Activate the booster
SPACE BAR: Confirm
Z : Shoot
X: Teleport
